Education
Dr. Rosalie (Rose) Brao is a board certified orthodontist and proud partner at Gulf Coast Orthodontics. Dr. Rose earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida (UF) before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, where she graduated with honors and received multiple awards for leadership, ethics, and academic excellence. She graduated at the top of her class, was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society, and named a Pierre Fauchard Academy Fellow.
After practicing general dentistry in Northern California, Dr. Rose returned to UF to complete her orthodontic residency. There, she earned her Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dental Sciences. Her research explored a novel Botox conjugate for orofacial pain, earning her selection as an American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Research Scholar. She is a published author in journals including Nature Neuroscience, Journal of Clinical and Translational Research, Molecular Genetics & Genomic Medicine. She was also named AAO Resident Champion and a finalist for the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics Student of the Year Award.
In Our Practice
Dr. Rose provides comprehensive orthodontic care for children, teens, and adults, with expertise in early treatment, airway friendly orthodontic treatment, Invisalign, orthognathic surgery and interdisciplinary cases. She is passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes while building lasting relationships with her patients and their families.
Family and Community
She lives in Naples with her husband (also a dentist), their two children, and their playful Lagotto Romagnolo pup. Outside the office, Dr. Rose enjoys spending time with her family and friends skiing, spearfishing, going to the beach, baking, cheering on the Florida Gators.
